Chessies is growing – meet our new botanical body oils

Three new body oils. Carefully selected plant oils. A new chapter for Chessies.

It is with great pleasure that we can finally present something we have been working on for quite some time: Chessies Botanicals Organic Body Oils! 🌿

Chessies started with handmade herbal blends here in Årdal, with an interest in herbs, flowers and nature's many raw materials. Now we are taking a new step forward and expanding our range with botanical body care products.

Behind the launch lie many small and large choices – from ingredients and scents to bottles, labels and packaging. We wanted to create a product line with a natural, simple and timeless expression that fits into the Chessies universe.

And now they are finally here!

Three body oils, each with its own character

Our new body oils come in three varieties, all in 50 ml glass bottles with a pump.

Lavender – soft and floral

A botanical body oil with the familiar, aromatic scent of lavender. A great choice for those who appreciate classic, floral scents.

Rosehip – simple and botanical

With rosehip oil as part of the composition. A body oil for those who like a simple, plant-based skincare routine.

Sandalwood & Myrrh – warm and woody

A distinctive fragrance combination with amyris and myrrh, which provides warm, woody and slightly spicy fragrance notes.

Plant oils in focus

All three body oils are based on castor oil and black seed oil, combined with various botanical oils that give each variant its own character.

We've also updated our botanical ingredients page so you can learn more about the plants and oils used in our products.

A new direction, with the same roots

Although our range is evolving, the idea behind Chessies remains the same: an interest in botanical ingredients, thoughtful products and an expression inspired by nature.

The new body oils mark the beginning of a new chapter, and we look forward to showing you more of what we are working on in the future.
