Chessies is a Norwegian, family-owned online store focusing on botanical products, natural ingredients and carefully selected formulations. Our range includes botanical body oils and other plant-inspired products.

Our body oils are produced by an external manufacturer and carefully selected for the Chessies Botanicals collection. Orders are shipped from Norway.

Orders are normally dispatched within 1–2 business days. Delivery with Bring usually takes 3–5 business days. Delivery times may be longer during public holidays or particularly busy periods.

At the moment, we only ship orders within Norway. We may consider offering selected products to customers in other European countries in the future.

Available payment methods are displayed at checkout. You can choose from the payment options offered for your order.

Yes. When shopping online, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive your order. Please contact us by email if you wish to exercise this right.

Include your name, order number and the products you wish to return. Return shipping costs are normally your responsibility. For sealed products that are unsuitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, the right of withdrawal may no longer apply once the seal has been broken.

Please contact us as soon as you notice the problem. Include your order number and a short description, preferably with photos if the product is damaged. We will help you in accordance with applicable consumer protection regulations.

Our body oils are made with organic plant oils. Ingredients vary between the different varieties. You can find the complete ingredient list (INCI) on each product page and on the product packaging.

Gently massage a small amount of oil into your skin as needed. For best results, apply to clean, slightly damp skin after a shower or bath. For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes.

Some of our body oils contain essential oils with naturally occurring fragrance compounds. Lavender Body Oil contains fragrance allergens including Linalool, Limonene and Geraniol. Rosehip Body Oil contains no added perfume or essential oils.

Skin tolerance varies from person to person. If you have sensitive skin or known allergies, we recommend carefully checking the ingredient list and testing a small amount on a limited area of skin before use. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

Keep the bottles tightly closed and store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Always follow the storage instructions on the packaging.
